Services - Sustainable Design

We believe in not only conserving Ireland’s Architectural Heritage but also designing new buildings in a sustainable and sensitive way. New development and conservation needs are not mutually exclusive. We strive to demonstrate that sympathetic solutions exist for sensitive sites.

During the building phase we perform Project Management for conservation works in complex and historically sensitive building sites providing supervision and approval of restoration works in accordance with Best Conservation Practice Principles.

TKB Southgate Associates have been accredited with BS8555, Phase 3 and are undertaking the implementation of ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System and ISO 14001:2004, Environmental Management System with completion expected by March 2008.

TKB Southgate Associates adheres to Project Supervisor Design Phase (PSDP) for Conservation Projects in accordance with regulations. We carry out self assessments on projects which are subject to our internal auditing system.
