Newfound Consortium’s intention is to develop and market an integrated eco-tourism development at Lough Key Forest Park in harmony with Nature and Local Heritage.
The developer envisages an investment in excess of €70 million in the park including accommodation in a 120 room 5-Star hotel with leisure and conferencing facilities along with 150 forest chalets to 5-Star standard based in small villages throughout the forest area. The development proposes to support this accommodation with a range of bars, cafes, restaurants, craft centre and a year round visitor information centre, equestrian facilities, 18 Hole Championship Golf Course and a range of water based activities.
TKB Southgate Associates have been involved from the outset as Project Managers and will oversee both the building of new properties on the site and the conservation of existing historical structures.
