In 2004, Dunboy Castle and Cap Partners Ltd proposed a major conservation and reconstruction project to rehabilitate Puxley Manor as a luxury Hotel. TKB Southgate Associates initially compiled a Conservation and Environmental Strategy Report which included a Condition Report of Dunboy House, an Environmental Report and an Archaeological Assessment of the structure. Conservation work at Dunboy Castle involved some of the most challenging stonework conservation ever attempted in this country and is considered to be one of the largest privately funded conservation projects undertaken in Europe.
